I am getting a error code 2162 - 0002 after I changed the game card reader that I bought from this website. Previously, with the old game card reader, it was saying that the game card could not be read so I bought a replacement game card reader from Ifixit and followed their instruction. After replacing it, I try to run a game but I am getting that error code. Would anyone know what is causing this issue? When no card in present in the switch, it is working fine. The error only happens when I insert a game.

I too am seeing this error after replacing the reader with one bought from this site. Another known good reader works fine.
I got a defected part. Reach out to ifixit and they will replace it for you for free and it worked!
I have a new card reader from i fix it seemed to work for around 2 days and then now it keeps saying unable to read game card, i tested it with another game card and its working fine. But I’m in the process of contacting ifix and hoping they will offer me a free replacement. Glad to see that they seem to be loyal with there customer service !
