Chosen Solution
Hi folks, I’ve been repairing iPhones for a number of years. This week I did 2 iPhone 8 plus LCD’s for the first time. After swapping over all the parts and screws and powering up the phone, the earpiece doesnt work when I ring someone. Loudspeaker works, so does everything else. I made sure that the black double sided tape was lifted and nearly put back on the contacts on underside of the flex cable. I’ve seen a few posts with the same problem, how ever no one seemed to have yet found a solution or a cause. Can anyone advise what to do? It happened on both the iPhone 8s I did this week. Thanks
I buy screens with the earpiece speaker and front camera installed already. It only costs a few dollars extra and it saves time. I buy my screens from fixez.com out of las Vegas nevada.
