While trying to fix the screen on pixel 3 I ripped the cable off the ear speaker when I took the motherboard out just wondering if anyone has seen that part for sale cause I’ve spent the last three hours trying to find a replacement with little success. I also tried re-soldering the cable back on but no sound still.
Heh - I did the same… delicate little number that one is. Still searching, but haven’t found the part anywhere yet.
I did the same thing I think, well my earpiece has stopped working after screen swap so I assume I’ve broken the speaker. Can’t find one for the Pix3 anywhere, only the 3 XL.
Same boat. Been communicating with Witrigs about this and hopefulyl they will ahve them in soon.
Returning to this thread to report finding and successfully installing a replacement earpiece speaker on my Pixel 3 (not XL). Mine came from an Ebay seller in the UK called “fonejoy”. Shipping to the US was as much as the part itself ($12.64 part, $14.95 shipping) but it arrived promptly and seems to work. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Official-Google…
I need the same part. Accidentally damaged the top speaker flex cable when removed the mainboard. Never happened before with other phones. Apparently the position of the speaker is wrong. Bad design! And, of course, this part is not available anywhere.
Found a vendor here that just sent me one, it took a couple weeks but i got it. I have yet to install it. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Earpiece…
Has anyone found already a supplier for the Earpiece of the Pixel 3?
also looking very hard to find
You can buy it in The Netherlands; TouchFix BV
I just bought a bunch of these. I will put them up on Ebay if anyone is interested in them in the US to reduce the shipping costs. Should be in next week.
