Hello, my Dyson v7 motorhead isn’t charging. After pressing the button to use it, the vacuum would flash a red light at the bottom for a short while before shutting off. The same happens upon plugging it in. Does anyone know what is going on, if so how do you fix it?
Sounds like you probably need a new battery. If it flashes red 10 or fewer times, the Dyson website says you need to contact them. But if it flashes red 12 or more times, then it’s just a dead battery. Order a battery here on iFixit. I’m waiting for mine to arrive tomorrow.
