I’m able to connect the PS4 controller to get into safe mode and I select each of the options in the menu, however, I cannot move the highlighted cursor to the right to the Ok or Yes button for any option. All other buttons O and X and Up and Down and Left work fine. What might be the issue? Is it a controller problem or console hardware problem? It is stuck in safe mode and I am trying to wipe everything and reinstall the system. Thanks.
Most probably you already know the answer by now, but you should connect your controller to a pc/mac with the usb and go to https://gamepad-tester.com/ This is a html5 page to test controllers. You can check if all the buttons and vibration work correctly.
