Hi, I have a PS3 super slim model and it has dual disk reading eyes/lasers. The blue ray reader lens somehow cracked and broke off. (Just the tiny clear plastic square that sits on top.) So I won’t play any blue ray games or disks. The other non-blue ray lens still works and can play disks. Is there anyway to fix this lens? or a DIY to make the blue ray reader work again?
These laser lens work at micrometer level, I doubt there is any way to fix them. A good option is to replace the whole optical block (the two lenses, rail, motor, …).
