Chosen Solution
The charging light was red so I put it to charge but the orange light goes off for a few minutes so it was impossible that in a few seconds it completed charging. But every time I unplug the charger and plug it in again the light goes on, but the same thing happens again. It isn’t an adapter/cable issue.
@xyla let us know how you determined that “It isn’t an adapter/cable issue.” If that is correct, you want to replace the battery. If a new battery does not yield any better results, disassemble your DS and check the board for corrosion and failed components in the charging circuitry.
