Dryer Turns On And Off Dryer

Just moved into house and the Kenmore model 66912691 electric dryer won’t stay running! When press start it runs for about five minutes then constantly turns off and on, causing the cycle to not run all the way through. Took it all apart and cleaned out lint and saw some blockage but not a ton. Any ideas ??

OldTurkey03 is spot on here. Turn it on and go outside so you can feel the vent air. A blocked vent will cause the cycling thermostat to cycle on and off. If it’s exhausting OK, here’s the part for your machine: http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/K…
