My dryer keeps tripping the breaker about 5-6 minutes into a heated cycle. It runs the whole cycle fine on no heat. The breakers are only 1-2 year old and the dryer is only maybe 3-4 years old. I replaced the heating element and no change. I checked the thermal fuse and thats still good. It gets up to temp and then trips breaker. Any ideas?

Hi @adamrisner , As it only happens when heating, you may have to check the heater’s operating circuit for any obvious wiring problems e.g. wire insulation bared and wire touching frame etc. Although I’m also wondering it it has to do when the heater is turned off once the dryer reaches the set temp. Here’s the Tech Sheet - W10806847 - Rev B for the dryer that may help. On p.23 it has the wiring diagrams for the different circuits in the dryer. Also the tech sheet shows how to run the diagnostics program so maybe you can make it happen by performing the tests and narrow it down that way- see p.4 onwards
