My washer is making a loud noise, the agitator is not spinning correctly and the drum is only moving when the agitator tries to move. When the agitator moves that’s when it makes the loud humming noise?!?!? And it hasn’t been completely draining all the time either. This washer is only about 2 years old. It’s a whirlpool curio top loader. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!! Thank you! I’ve attached a photo of the model number, not sure if it’s needed. But I’ve done everything in the Manual
Hi @mrae For some reason your video is not working so I can’t see or hear what is happening. (shows 0.00 / 0.00 time? loaded for video) Here’s a link to the parts for your washer. If you click on symptoms, select the one that appears to be the most appropriate to what is happening. Both the “will not agitate” and the ‘pumps but not spin” problem have the washer agitator (part #16 Gearcase, Motor and pump parts diagram) in common as a possible cause.
