I dropped my phone onto concrete. Miraculously, the screen is not cracked. But now, whenever I turn on the phone, random controls, usually toward the bottom of the screen, keep getting ghost-pressed. Is there anything that can be done about this short of buying a new screen? Thanks!
No, just because there are no visible signs of damage doesn’t mean there isn’t damage. Most likely you damaged the digitizer under the glass because it believes that the touch function is being activated. You could try resetting the phone but I highly doubt that will fix the issue.
