Hi! I recently dropped my iPhone 4S out of my coat pocket. It went white with vertical grey lines for about 30 minutes. After resetting it with the home and power button, it came back to life, but the screen is exceptionally dark and objects are more “defined.” On certain items, especially grey boxes, I can clearly see slight horizontal lines. The screen was flickering, but I turned off auto brightness. The final display issue is that there’s a dark grey bar at the bottom of the screen that crops off the title of the apps in my home bar. There’s no glass breakage, so trying to understand what parts I need to repair? Is this a true screen replacement or is it possible that a cord is disconnected or loose? What about the dark grey bar? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your LCD is dead. You can try replacing the whole LCD and digitizer assembly.

It means you should take your phone apart and reattach your lcd cables to make sure they are tightly connected. After the drop that maybe popped off your ribbon cables.

Same thing happened to my phone. Its an s6. I am worried about my pictures, files and music cause i have not backed them up.

You’re gay lol ahahahahahahaa
