Dropped PS Vita now there is no video, only a black screen. The screen did not crack/break in any way. It still seems to be working otherwise. You can still hear sounds etc. So do I need to replace the screen or has something came loose on the inside?
The only way to know that is to open it up and reseat the video cables. I have seen both scenarios where the screen wasnt cracked, but still bad after a drop and also where the video cables had come loose. Put the Vita under a desk light so you can inspect it closer. Sometimes the glass wont be broken, but the lcd under the glass will be. Hopefully, its just the video cable being loose. Good Luck!
