I replaced the screen and all that fun stuff after i dropped it, but it still won’t respond to touch. i have tried hard resets and removing and reinstalling the screen and it still won’t work. What is wrong with it?
Christopher, possibly a bad replacement part. Replace the assembly once more with another new one. It is not uncommon to receive one with a bad digitizer. Of course you made sure all your connectors are properly seated and that the connectors are good, no bend or broken pins. Worst case scenario would be a failed touchscreen IC on the logic board.
