Hi I dropped my iPhone 4 and now the touch screen is not working. I can see a hair line fracture in the panel behind the front glass panel. Everything else seems to be ok. Please advise what parts would I need to replace?
Sounds like the digitizer has been broken. You will need the following part to repair your device. iPhone 4 (GSM/AT&T) Screen
If you have tried changing the touchscreen and still touch is not working, That means your phones touchscreen controller (IC) is faulty,
The digitizer connector has probaly become dislodged slightly I have fixed many by opening the back and reseating the digitgizer cable. This is much more common when someone has removed the emi shield from the back of the board.
Yup, you just need the digitizer. The LCD and digi come as one part so it should be an easy fix. If your not sure how to see youtube or get a pro to do it. You can buy the part here on this site or try other sites like; digiexpress.com ipodrefresh.com rapidrepair.com
Will replacing the screen fix the problem of the semi responsive screen problem?
