drive belt came off flat idler pulley. it is on top of pulley. belt still on other pulleys. is there any way to put back on without removing mower from tractor.

If you notice in step 3, the manual removes the belt from the clutch pulley before the deck is removed (steps 4-7). Therefore, if you follow steps 1-3, you should be be able to have enough slack in the belt to reroute the belt around the idler pulleys and back on the clutch pulley without having to remove the mower deck.
