Chosen Solution
Anyone know a solution to this? I try to click with the left button and it ends up double clicking. It also has trouble when click + hold is performed.
“Press the right click button and hold-it, turn the mouse off and on, leave the right mouse button pressed while clicking on the left click button 5 times Quit pressing the right click button and turn the mouse off. Click and hold the right mouse button, turn the mouse on and finally release the right mouse button.” it works!!!!
I have also had this problem with several Logitech mice, including the performance MX I fixed mine by desoldering and replacing the left microswitch with another (stolen from another, broken mouse). This is reasonably straightforward if you’re comfortable with soldering, it just requires quite a lot of disassembly to get to the underneath of the logic board. Alternatively, and much more simply, you can try opening up the microswitch and bending the internal spring back into shape. This is described in detail here (not my video). Hope that helps
Just open the microswitch. Remove the faulty spring. Replace spring from a working microswitch. This is much less hassle than desoldering the microswitch!
Don’t forget buy a tool to collect tin

I think you need replace the left button micro switch
just replace the omorn switch in mouse it cost less than 2 bucks with shipping.
That’s because the button is used down and the only real solution is to get it replaced by another one… there is a software solution but not really reliable…
