My door ajar light stays on even when car is off. Also the door ajar chime goes off CONSISTENTLY CONSTANTLY it never stops BUT only when driving !! Please help. I have pressed the sensor on all doors. The driver door is the only door that when pressed the car ajar light doesnt go off. Does this mean the switch is bad? Anything else to try before replacing sensor? Also a diagram of where it is at would be appreciated. Thank you so much
Just replace the door jamb switch on the drivers door. It’s normally a bit of black accordian rubber that sits on the car side of an open door. https://images.app.goo.gl/m2VLGnTkv5ty5A… When door is closed it presses the switch telling the car the door is closed. You can test it yourself to see if it is the switch by pressing it in Very cheap part from an autostore
