Scrolling using the finger doesn’t work anymore, but I can still point at a scrollbar and drag it around. On the same computer, another Magic Mouse doesn’t show this issue. Is it a hardware problem that can be repaired? Thanks Franco
Did the batteries leak? There is a connector near the battery contacts as you can see here
See if the corrosion has damaged things, which you might be able to clean off. Other than that there is very little you can fix here. Review the teardown for more! Magic Mouse Teardown
