I’m interested in know about what phone brands/models work after the screen is broken. For example: the Iphone works even with the screen shattered.

It really should still work if you drop it and crack the glass. However, if you damage the digitizer or the LCD then your screwed and it will no longer work correctly. But If the glass is just broken you should be ok. Also iPhones sometimes do stop working when dropped if their LCD or digitizer is damaged. But as long as if you drop it and only the glass breaks you should be fine. Or here’s the best option DONT DROP IT. Or at least put a case or screen protector. Hope this helps!
