I damaged the rubber gasket that goes around the display when fixing the LCD, now it’s back on but I’m missing a piece of it so dust gets in the display. I was wondering if there’s a place where I can get that part so as to replace it correctly or other wise if anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this without the appropiate part? Thanks for your help!
Sadly, overtime parts supplies dry up! The bezel gasket often failed on the Unibody Gloss screen systems. Apple didn’t offer it as a SKU, Some enterprising folks where able to locate the producer of the part and managed to get them. I haven’t seen it available for quite awhile, sorry ;-{
