I ordered parts to add nfc functionality to my p52s but it’s from another computer lenovo makes. The module says it’s compatible with the computer but the flex cable is really long compared to the short p52s nfc cable. And the antenna says it works with the Module Thus working with the p52s. I’m. Just worried About the flex cable. Parts are From A thinkpad L480
Hi, The wiring and connections may be the same but the problem is will the longer cable interfere physically or electrically, within the laptop. The length is there for a reason. The part numbers are different i.e. P52s = 01YR465 and L480 = 01LW330 and usually manufacturers don’t specify different part numbers for components that can do the same job. They will use the same one.
