My friend began to hit the enter key too hard. But when I mean hard, is like trying to put all your anger into it. It still works and all but I am afraid that it might get affected in the long run. Specially because the enter key seems to be soft. Should I be worried? Are macbook pro keyboards resistant to these kind of hard-hits? In the worst scenario… What happens if one of the keys is damaged? Can the key mechanism be replaced easily?
Most of the 13" keyboards are replaceable. Some of the earlier ones require an uppercase replacement. Get a new friend, this one has major anger management issues, especially with someone else’s expensive machine. I sure wouldn’t let him touch my stuff again.
