I repair a few iPads and occasionally rip the wifi-bluetooth cable. So far when repairing the iPad 3’s I haven’t ripped any yet, but I was wondering if an iPad 2 part would work in a 3. I know the iPad 3 has bluetooth 4 but I think that’s all controlled at the board? Anyone know?
No. The 2 parts have different Apple Part Numbers (APN) and they have different brackets where it is screwed into place. We’ll have the iPad 3rd Gen antenna in our store very shortly.
