I’m sure it probably doesn’t, but this issue isn’t addressed under the warranty section…
If it does. iFixit should just slash its wrists now. A warranty implies a defect in a product provided. If you run your car into a telephone pole should the manufacturer give you a new one? They would get sued by the insurance companies.
