Does the Ifixit iPhone 8 screen (iPhone 8 Screen) use an OEM part, or is it at least made of gorilla glass? I got my phone screen replaced a few months ago from a third-party repairman, and it broke within two days after it fell out of my pocket one foot onto concrete when I sat on a bench. I want to make sure it is as strong as the iPhone original part, because it was actually really strong and lasted for 3 years. If not, where can I buy one without the 145 dollar apple repair fee?
Jack Urban only Apple will have OEM parts. Nobody else will have those. The display that iFixit has is made to same specs as OEM without claiming to be OEM. So yes, the glass will be just as good as the one from Apple.
