Does That Mean The Fuel Pump Is Working 1991 Wave Runner

I have a 1991 wave runner 500 jet ski, I cleaned and rebuilt the carb put it all back together as it was before not it won’t run, I can get it to run by spraying gas down the carb but it doesn’t stay running but if you hit the throttle it reves up does that mean the fuel pump is working? It is a pulse pump that it attached to the carb, it is a two stroke 500 engine.

@kanine yes it does. It sounds like you have no idle. Double check your work and check your jets adjustments and float settings. Let us know what carb your WaveRunner has.
