Hi I got Hp z1 workstation with intel xeon and quadro 4000 gpu the computer wont post, just spins fans and nothing on the screen i have trouble finding anything on the internet of this issue can it be bad motherboard, bios chip im not sure can anybody help?

Hi, Here is a link to the service manual for your computer. Try the procedures found at the bottom of p.61 to see if it helps in localizing the problem. Also try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen to check if you can detect an image. If you can you have a backlight problem with the screen.
