Hello, My ipod classic is constantly showing low battery. When I plug into computer, I need to hold the cord at a certain angle for it to register and charge. Charge does not last more than a few hours at best. When I put into speakers, it will play, but doesn’t seem to charge from there anymore. Not sure if issue is battery or possibly the connection piece where is plugs in?
it may well have a problem with both battery and charge port, the charge port is definitely faulty if it will only charge at weird and wonderful angles (assuming you’ve tried alternative cables), so that’d definitely need replacing. the battery may not be at fault because its hard to tell if it is being charged correctly from the faulty charge port.
