My Micromax Canvas 110Q is just 7 month old and now it does not charge when phone is ON. After switching OFF the phone it will charge, but someties it shows low battery after full charging. Restarting again will show battery as 100%. I had installed DU Battery saver app from the start. Can it be the software problem and should I uninstall the DU app?

  1. Download and install MTK engineering app from play store
  2. Open it
  3. Go to Hardware testing
  4. Go to USB
  5. Go to USB IF Test
  6. In the first four options…do start and stop
  7. Now go back and press on UART/USB switch
  8. Here choose UART radio button Now count 1….2….3….4….5… And your phone will be charging now

That would be my first guess, try uninstalling and let us know what happens.

This was firmware bug lately patch by micromax in new updates. Check new updates from micromax if updates not available then try to flash custom firmware but you have to root it before going further.

  1. uninstall DU battery first.it sucks out your battery more.
  2. Check out the charging port ..it may be filled with dust and lint…try cleaning it with a safety pin [ NOTE: be careful not to damage the port ].
  3. Now try restartin it.

Hi, have you performed a battery recalibration? To be honest no one battery apps are good, they just cancel some logs from your device (in few words) Here is how to perform a battery recalibration. How to calibrate a smartphone battery: Let the device reach 0% and let it shut down till you can not even turn it on Connect the battery rechargerwall and let the device reach 100% battery without turn it on. Once the device reached the 100% battery let it connected for other 2 hours (without turn it on) Once the 2 hours are passed with the rechargerwall battery connected to the electricy, turn on your device for 20 min, after that turn it off. Once you turned off the device disconnect the rechargerwall from the wall then disconnect the usb data cable from rechargerwall battery. After that reconnect the usb data cable to the rechargerwall battery and then reconnect the rechargerwall battery to the wall electricity This operation should be repeated for 3 days in a row. Do not perform this operation more than 3 times in 2 months. Let me know
