Even after charging to 100%, my Note 4 will drop in seconds to 54% and then reboot over and over perpetually. Plugging it in will show that the battery is at 0%. A new Samsung battery doesn’t help. Factory reset doesn’t help. Maybe over the years, a short has been made. Would anyone be aware of either a downloadable piece of software for a computer (to use while connected to the phone) or an app or on the phone itself to find problems for a Note 4?
If you dial *#0228#, the phone enters a diagnostic mode showing battery info.
