I was gripping the top corner of my Macbook to move it when I heard a crack and this appeared on my screen. There is no external damage and the screen is completely smooth. The damage can only be seen when the Macbook is on.
@jewles0_0 that is a broken display. I can‘t be repaired but needs to be replaced. We‘ll need to know the exact model of your Macbook Air to help you further. Bottom line is you need a new display.
