I got an Eee PC 1015 PN from my employer (they were getting rid of them) but it came without a power adapter. I do have a power supply capable of supplying the proper voltage and current so I only need to find a matching connector to hook the two together. However I struggle to find any mention anywhere online of the physical dimensions of that connector. Asus mentions them neither on their site nor in their user manual and every time I risk a web search I must swim through countless power adapter replacement ads which of course never mention it either.I could not find a service manual of any kind either. T_TIf anyone had any information about it, I’d be forever thankful to them for sharing it. ;)Update: I have since stumbled on a power adapter selling site which claims that the dimensions of the jack are 2.315mm x 1mm however since I have not been able to find any connector with those dimensions I am hesitant to trust those numbers.(link: https://www.ibuybattery.com/laptop-power…)
The Asus EEE PC 1015PN uses an AC adapter that has the following specs. Input: 100-240V (Worldwide) Output: 19V 2.1A Power: 40W I was able to find a replacement charger here, but I always recommend shopping around because you might find it cheaper on eBay.
Asus laptops tend to be fairly universal, to the point you can use a common adapter; I have even test fit Toshiba branded ones on them and it takes; the exception is the thin-and-lights like the ZenBook series. Any good quality 3rd party adapter like the Targus universal will work, essentially. That said, I still recommend a OEM Asus but if you want a good 3rd party universal it usually isn’t an issue.
