Chosen Solution
The digitizer/screen unit is working fine when connected to the phone but it’s missing the recent key & back key decal and black adhesive (?) part at the bottom of the inside screen; same for parts of the top of the inside screen. Do I need to replace the front screen in order to replace the missing decals and black parts or is it possible to just buy some “patch” that would cover what’s missing. I hate the idea of buying a cheap screen to replace this Gorilla 3 with no scratches on it. I hope it’s all making sense. Thanks in advance for an answer.
@rodeo_clown unless you have the tools and the experience to separate the digitizer/glass from the screen, you would have to change the whole display. These are hard to separate at the best of time and you run the risk of breaking it without the experience. Of course if nothing else maybe you can send it off to someone who can do that for you.
