I have an Emerson 55” inch tv that is having sound issues. Randomly, while its on, a low pop sound can be heard and the tv doesn’t have any sound. In order to get sound i have to unplug the tv from the wall and then plug it up again. But in some cases the tv will m,ake the popping noise 10-15 seconds later. Is this problem fixable or should i get a new tv?
@farquaad sounds like your TV is having issues with the audio amp IC on the main board. If you can remove the back cover from your TV and take a look at the main board. Check for any obviously damaged or missing part. Post some good pictures of your boards with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question I would not yet consider a new TV.
