I’m a computer repair tech and a customer brought in a PS5 that has a bad HDMI port, the customer sent the PS5 to Sony who said they can’t repair it because there is liquid damage I inspected the board and there is no liquid damage. Anyway do I need to reapply the liquid metal or is it fine to put everything back on without reapplying it?
If you removed the heat sink, reapply liquid metal. Sony spent years and a lot of money trying to apply liquid metal for a reason, you can’t skip it.
