I recently dropped my Samsung Galaxy SM-A520W 2017 phone face down and now have a screen covered with hairline cracks does not appear to affect the screen itself do I have to replace the whole screen or can I just replace a tempered Glass lens? I got a quote for $230 at a phone repair place and I’m wondering is this really necessary to replace the entire screen? and if I can just replace a lens where can I get one for this model.
Hi @stebeherby01 Well technically from ebay, amazon and aliexpress I noticed there is a whole assembly being sold but it seems it does not come cheap either while comparing with the same model on a preowned / used mobile phone . the correct term should be glass digitizer.
