I have a sanyo dp50740 I do not see any standby light and when turned on the green power light comes on for three seconds then goes off. The first attempt you hear a click When you try again no sound. After the third attempt the green power will not come on until you do a hard reset then the cycle starts over. No picture or sound.

@lb2015 this from the service manual The Pwr Bd. is seldom bad. If the Pwr LED is turning OFF in 4-5 sec., these are the most common failures on the SC & SS Bds., If any are shorted, please replace the board. You may need to check these components as suggested in the SM
