hey I’m fixing my iPhone 6 right now the screen, and i lost the metal plate/ bracket that goes behind the home button can i continue without it or no?
Hi @j98 , Yes, you must install that bracket. If you do not, the button may not activate at all, or you may damage the cable for that button which would result in Touch ID never working again on the device. Order this bracket. Thanks!
