The Kindle HDX 7” uses adhesive to glue down the battery and the plastic upper bezel over the volume buttons and speakers. Once I remove that adhesive, what do I replace it with, or is it even necessary? Thank you in advance for all help.
i would definitely use “the red tape” on a battery as well just to make sure you don’t end up with a battery cable or connector ripped off.
