I recently dropped my phone, despite being in a case a large black line has appeared on the screen. There is no external screen damage as such, however the charging port is also slightly damaged. I presume this will require an entire screen replacement to be fixed as it is not a software issue?
yes, from the picture it does look like your screen will need to be replaced. sorry about the bad news. usually if its software you can wipe the phone first and start fresh and that would go away. im 99% sure thats a hardware issue.
You have to replace the new LCD.
