I have just purchased a second hand Nintendo Switch. It didn’t come with a Nintendo power adapter. Do I have to buy a genuine/approved power adapter for the Switch to charge on the charging dock? As it won’t charge at the moment and comes up with a message on the screen saying I have to use the genuine adapter to be able to plug into the TV with the HDMI. I’m confused!
Yes a genuine oem Nintendo brand power adapter to use the Nintendo switch with a Nintendo brand dock to output to your tv you may use any generic usb-c cable to charge it, but for use with the dock oem charging cable is necessary
