Hi I changed my battery today with an ifixit kit. Went well until I tried to charge and I can’t get it to! I have tried official apple charger, from diff outlets and the insulating later on top of the battery connector is in tact. I read somewhere that I should let my battery die and then start to charge - does anyone have ideas of what else I could try before taking it into a shop with my tail between my legs? thanks!
Is your phone recognised by iTunes? You could try another charging port before taking it to the shop but if it is not recognised by iTunes even after a charge port replacement it could be a faulty component on the charging circuit. Probably the Tristar IC.
