Our iPad 5 had broken glass but worked fine before the repair. After replacing the battery, and home button assembly, it turns on/off every 5 seconds and the display is only colored lines and bands. Any ideas?
Make sure you disconnect the battery before you do anything. Get a magnifying glass and check the connections and make sure the pins aren’t bent if they are ok clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush.
