I’ve been facing an issue where the screen will go black(dim) when its titled more than 45 degrees. It’s out of warranty as well

Sorry to tell you Apple didn’t offer an extended warranty program for the 15” model only for 13” model 13-inch MacBook Pro Display Backlight Service Program But let’s twist things about! I’m sure your keyboard has issues right?? If you do then you could get your system serviced under that (ignoring the display issue) Keyboard Service Program for MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro When you take it in make sure you don’t expose the display issue. Once Apple has the system they will address all defects! That is how some folks have managed to get it fixed. If you can’t hide the issue you’ll need to convince the genius that it should be covered under a warranty exception otherwise. Make your appointment for a Tuesday mid morning as you what who ever helps you to be in a good mood. You need to hold your composure, don’t argue, as to speak to the manager, if that fails, move up the food chain until you get a yes. What is against you is the age of the system as its over three years old now so getting Apple to be swayed will be doubly hard. OK, no dice ;-{ Now what? If you can’t get it done under warranty or warranty exception then you’ll need to dig into your pockets to get the needed part and fix it your self or find someone with th eskills who can do it for you.
