I replaced my battery for my phone today and was dismayed to find it will not turn on past the apple logo on the display. I’ve tried restoring it with my computer but I’ve had no luck. Anyone know what I might have done wrong?
When it is stuck on apple logo is this while plugged into a charger or not plugged into a charger? Have you tried the old battery if it still works? It may be a case of a bad replacement battery.
Try to restore your iPhone using recovery mode, which may help you exit the Apple logo screen. Connect the iPhone to a computer and launch iTunes.Press and hold the iPhone’s Home button and the Side button together. Keep holding the buttons until you see the recovery mode screen.Once your iPhone displays the recovery mode screen, you will get a dialog box in iTunes that says “There is a problem with the iPhone that requires it to be updated or restored.” Select Restore and then follow the on-screen prompts to restore the iPhone.
