Hello, I changed the display of my iPhone 5, but when I turn it on, it appears this: [NAND ] _FindFlashMediaAndKeepout :601 physical nand block offset 1 [NAND ] start :356 this 0x9f538400 PROVIDER=0x9f6b1f00 flashMedia=0x9f6b1f00 [NAND ] WMR_Start : 149 Apple PPN NAND Driver , Read/Write [NAND ] WMR_Start : 174 FIL_Init [OK] [NAND ] WMR_Open : 371 VFL_Open [OK] [NAND ] s_cxt_boot : 88 sftl : error , unclean shutdown; adopted 11280 spans [NAND ] WMR_Open : 420 FTL_Open [OK] [NAND ] _publishServices : 642 FTL capabilities : 0x00000001 [NAND ] _ppnvflGetStruct : 3469 Checking borrowed blocks - count : 23 max_count : 23 [NAND ] _fetchBorrowedList : 881 number of borrowed blocks 16 and then it turns off… What can i do?

There is something wrong with the front sensor cable, reattatch or replace the cable and try again

Check out our blog post on this issue, their are several different issues that can cause it including the Compass/Accelerometer IC: http://blog.irepairnational.com/2014/10/

NAND errors are usually related to a flex cable problem. (And when they are not, it is the motherboard). If it wasn’t doing this before your screen replacement, it is probably a flex cable. Try booting the phone with only the power flex installed and see if iTunes recognizes it.

First you change new display and check if you face same problem again then you remove compass ic your problem solve in few minutes

I reattached and still got the same error. I then disconnected both sensors to see if it would boot and once again got the same error. I ordered the new front facing camera and sensor flex cable. Do you think this will resolve the issue, or could my logic board be done?

Hi mate yeah same problem…SOLUTION: I replaced the display with a working display..obviously both displays were working but jessabethany was right. Its the front facing camera flex…either check it ifs all connected or just replace… Also the camera speaker and proximity sensor are connected through some pins that may require reflow of solder…theres about ten small pads..if these get loose its probably whats causing the error. i just replaced display to isolate problem and itunes restored fine…

try it original screen Update try it original screen.and restart phone with power and home button.

yes very true, the camera /sensor/ mic/ head speaker, ribbon cable are to blame for this, my suggestion would be restore without the screen, via iTunes then, after iTunes has finished turn off device, fit without that ribbon see if that works, if yes you know its a faulty camera ribbon etc… you can fit the one to the new screen, just remember to use the old head speaker/phone as well, i had an incompatibility issue so used my old, remember to fit it well as the sound will be terrible otherwise! thanks for your suggestions, prevented another phone going to landfill.. thank you!

한국어로좀 설명안되나요

I used WhiteOut after getting the NAND Flash display error and found it to be an excellent workaround. I’ve done this several times with both the iPhone 4/4S and 5. Special Note: The front sensors are all sensitive to visible light (proximity sensor, ambient sensor, etc.).

i have reheat u16 ic and all done device boot normally tested 100%

Sensor flat cable is damaged, plug it off the motherboard and try restoring the iPhone (hard reset method).

In my case i need to dissasembly all flex cable to cameras, button, and headphones from MB
