Hello, I just travelled with my iMac 27inch 2015 year model placing it in its original well protected box. The airline promised to send it in Extreme Care Handling luggage tag. I received the box at the belt luggage in the airport and it was fine. No hits or no damages to the box. When I arrived at my place, I switched it on but even though the drive gave me the usual switched on ring, the display remained off. I mean a totally dark screen. Do you know what may have gone wrong? Can you tell me what to check and whether I can fix it on my own? Where I am there are hardly any Apple Approved Service providers. First thing I would try is resetting the PRAM. Restart holding down the p,r,option, command keys and hold then until you get two restart tones.
