Chosen Solution
so i dropped my laptop the display started flickering for a few seconds then went back to normal shortly after i shut down and closed it the display didnt come on again yet everything else works fine i took it apart thinking it might be a loose connector but couldnt find anything i dont have a T8 screwdriver to remove the monitor assembly so im not sure if it could be from that end or if im completly wrong and need some replacements theres also no visible damage it works fine with external monitors and everything else seems to be fine im actually using it to write this, this is also my first time working on a laptop i usually do phones does anyone know whats wrong or how to fix
You’ll need to get the screen replaced. I estimate a screen replacement to be at least $400 or more. Screen connector can’t get loose as it uses a metal clip to hold it in.
