Chosen Solution
On my Acer iconia one 7 model B-770 tablet, the screen often begins flickering and distorting with static, having contrast problems (getting too bright), and simply displaying a black screen. The tablet still registers input during these malfunctions and otherwise functions fine. I believe that this is a hardware problem as when I put some pressure on the left border of the tablet from the middle up to the camera, the problem seems to stop. Can anyone explain the problem or provide a fix? thanks in advance
jarrod nash , What I can do is put a link to the disassembly of your device. You can take it apart and check/clean/reseat all the connections and also look for damaged components and cables. Use a Qtip or soft cloth dampened with 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol to clean connections before reseating to ensure good clean connection .Good luck.
